| Kim is Marble Meadows' oldest ewe. She was
born on January 13th, 1995. Kim has had thirteen lambs, including
Lorinda and Acra, who are listed farther down on this page.
Agnus was born on February 7th, 1997. She is the very first purebred Cotswold ewe to be born at Marble Meadows. To date, she has had eleven lambs, and has raised them all herself. She has had four ram lambs and seven ewe lambs, two of which we have kept in our flock. One of Agnus' grandlambs was Best in Show at the Vermont State Fair.
Wooler is six years old. She is the daughter of the first Cotswold ewe that Marble Meadows ever purchased. She is particularly friendly, and enjoys having her back scratched.
Astar is one of Agnus' lambs. She was born on March 5, 1999. She is the very first purebred colored Cotswold ewe to be born at Marble Meadows. She has had seven lambs.
Beech is a ewe with excellent fleece. It is especially consistent and curly. She was born on March 15th, 1999. She is Buttercup's triplet sister. She enjoys having her neck petted. Beech just lambed on March 17th, 2004 and had twin ewes.
Buttercup was also born on March 15th, 1999. Along with Beech, she is part of a set of triplets. Buttercup is our first bottle lamb, and is therefore very friendly.
Denise was born on March 20th 1999. She has been to the 4-H show at Eastern States Exposition five years in a row. She has been to so many shows that when we are loading the sheep into the truck to go to the fair, she will jump into it all by herself, without waiting to be lifted in. Denise enjoys being trimmed so much that she will climb on the fitting stand on her own.
Josey is another of Agnus' lambs. She was born on January 12, 2000. She is particularly adept at balancing on her hind legs for extended periods of time while she browses on tree leaves and tall plants that are too tall for the other sheep to reach.
Lorinda was born in 2003. As a lamb, she won Champion Ewe at the Vermont State Sheep and Wool Festival.

Gil is Agnus' 2004 lamb. He is our first lamb of the year.
|
Harma is Lucinda's 2004 lamb. She is a Natural
Colored crossbred ewe.
|
| Gilda is showing a little "attitude" in this picture.
She may look like a rebel, sticking her tongue out at the camera, but
she is actually a real sweetie.
|
Acra is a purebred Cotswold ram. As you can see in
this picture, he exhibits unique and handsome markings.
