Hello. Welcome to our family history page. This page will be divided into
three sections; the first about
my family, the second about my husbands family and the third about the
two of us together. I really
hope you enjoy.

I was born in January of 1974 in Leningrad, Russia, the eldest of four
children. My parents were involved
in a number of anti-Communist activities and when I was around four they
were offered a chance to leave
the country. Well, it was more of an order than an offer, but you take
what you can get. We left Russia
when I was five leaving behind all of our extended family.

We lived in Austria and Italy for a few months before finally arriving
in New York. Soon we found
a home in New Jersey where we remained for six long years. When I
was twelve years old my family
relocated to Vermont where we still live. I truly believe that it was the
best events that ever happened
to me. Not only was Vermont a much safer and more beautiful place to live,
but that is also where I met
my future husband.
Vincent's Family History
Vincent at four months
My husband Vincent was born in August of 1974 in the state of Vermont,
the eldest of two children. His
family spent most of their lives living in various Vermont towns, except
for a short jaunt to Florida
when Vincent was two.
Vincent and Aleksandra's History
Vincent and I met in seventh grade study hall, in my first year in Vermont.
We quickly became good
friends and dated on and off for the next seven or so years.

For the last few years of high school we were actually only friends, both
dating other people. One of
my biggest regrets of that time is that we were not able to attend the
prom together. Eventually I
went on to college, while Vincent remained in our hometown and we both
started to realize that we
wanted to be more than just friends. We started dating again in my
first year of college and were engaged
that summer.

We went on to the same college and were married in the spring of 1994.
