doesn't want to be a slave to the dealers and their huge fees for
simple diagnostics, the HawkEye empowers you to see deep into the
brain of your Land Rover. Is that 'check engine' lamp a serious
problem or just a simple problem that can be put off until later? Do
you pull over and call roadside assistance or keep driving until you
get to safety? Is the mechanic suggesting new oxygen sensors just
trying to sell you something you don't need or are they really
faulty?
The HawkEye is here. Designed for use with all North American market
Land Rovers from 1990 to present, the HawkEye goes far beyond just a
limited OBD scanner. What sets this unit apart is it's the first and
only hand-held scanner that understands the proprietary Land Rover
systems including Engine Management, Air Suspension, Body Control
Module and Antilock Brakes to name a few.
The electronic equivalent of a spare tyre, the HawkEye should
accompany any modern Land Rover. Aside from it’s ability to reset
errors and return the vehicle to operating condition in the event of
a fault, you can use the keypad to activate and test circuits to
find faults on your own.

The ABS/HDC/ETC warning lamps on are on - The
HawkEye can test your modulator, relays and will give you real-time
readings from each sensor in your brake system. New $2200 modulator
or simply a $20 relay? HawkEye will tell you without an expensive
trip to the dealer.
The air suspension errors-out on your Range Rover. What happened? Is
it a leaking air bag or a bad valve in the system? The HawkEye will
reset it and let you determine the cause. What would a dealer charge
to reset the computer and tell you what the problem is? Probably as
much as the HawkEye itself.
The HawkEye Diagnostic Tool comes with a standard OBDII cable which
will interface with the main computer in all Land Rovers from 1996
to present. Earlier models require additional cables and some newer
models require optional cables for certain functions. Each unit
includes one free unlock code for you to select which model of Land
Rover you intend to scan with your HawkEye. If you have more than
one model of Land Rover, you can purchase additional unlock codes to enable
your HawkEye to work with more than one model.
