April, 2009: Winner with Landscape Architect Terry Boyle, TJ Boyle & Associates, of a grant sponsored by New England Foundation for the Arts to study and prepare a site plan for public art for the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. |

| February, 2009: Grant from Northfield Saving Bank's Community Giving Program to fund an interpretive sign for the South Burlington Gateway Project. Gottsegen proposed the sign that also gives information about the threatened watershed. He worked with the Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District to develop sign content and funding plan. Sign design was an in-kind donation by the Lake Champlain District Wayside Sign Program. | |

| September, 2008: The South Burlington City Center Gateway Public Art Project, a collaboration with Landscape Architect Terry Boyle, TJ Boyle & Associates, is now open. The piece includes glass panels based on Gottsegen's paintings, a gateway tower structure, a public garden/ seating area, and other landscape elements. Link to a page of photos of the piece. | |

Dan Gottsegen lives and works in rural Vermont and exhibits nationally. His work has always been inspired by the natural environment, sense of place, and our interractions with and interventions in nature.
