Yesterday was a busy day and today I have spent recovering. Stretchhhhhh…now I am fully rested and can bring you up-to-date. It was a dark, damp, and noisy day outside. Leaves where falling to fast for me to watch. MFH left early and FF slept in. Later in the day MFH came home with bags. I know there was something in one of them for me because I could smell catnip. She wouldn’t give me what was in the bag saying it was for Christmas. I looked at her sadly and she went and opened a door in the food room and gave me a new mouse to play with. It was awesome. It was really a bird mouse because it had feathers and fur. MFH and FF threw it up the stairs and I chased it down. We did that for a while and then they went off to do their business and I did mine; licking and biting on my new mouse. I had just finished pulling the fur and feathers of my play mouse when MFH came down and she took it away saying I had killed it. I was sad but she would not give it back. Maybe, she will give me another play mouse soon. Yesterday, I was also able to get in some quality napping even though they were around making noise. I was also able to nap near MFH while she was reading one of those book things. I hate it when they read those things….they should put them down and pat me. Anyhow, I didn’t get in her face about it but I did block her light. She was still able to read but she knew that I wanted her attention. She and I had some nice quality time later in the evening. Spending the entire day with humans sometimes really gets me off my food, napping, and exploring schedule. I have to go now to my chow bowl.
