Gore Bucks

Today, Al Gore pledged $6,000,000 toward this fall's Democratic Party election efforts. The money is left over from his election bid four years ago. Under FEC rules, such funds can be donated to national political parties.

One question, Al: how come you had six million fucking dollars left over?!?! You couldn't find anything to spend that on?! What the hell is the matter with you?! Thwap Thwap!!

All right, I guess that was three questions.

Indeed, the question is left: what WOULD HAVE HAPPENED if he'd pumped that last 6 million into marketing? Would it have tipped the scales?

Or would it really have just been a drop in the bucket?

Hmm, I suppose that means he must not have been heavily invested in the internet economy. Strange considering he was instrumental in it's birth ;)

I'm surprised that a politician would would be left with so much money sticking to his fingers for so long. I'm sure there's more where that came from...working sucks compared to being warden.
