If you like Downhill Skiing, we are only approximately 20-40 minutes from several major ski areas, Okemo, Bromley, Stratton or 60 minutes from Killington. Tater Hill Golf Course in nearby Londonderry is a great place to Golf or Cross Country ski.

For the Outdoors type, We have over 50 acres of woods and meadows and a pond to take that nature walk in or around . Or how about trout fishing at "Rainbow Hole " on the Williams River just 30 yards across the road from our inn, a favorite spot of local and visiting fishermen during trout season!

In the warmer months there is bicycling around the local countryside enjoying all the beautiful scenery that Vermont has to offer,or antiquing if that is your thing. How about taking a ride on the Green Mountain Flyer, a scenic railroad that runs between Chester and Bellows Falls? A special treat at foliage time!
