I have written for magazines such as Nature Conservancy, Scientific American, Popular Science, OnEarth, E, Wildlife Conservation, Defenders, Northern Woodlands, Wildflower, and National Wildlife.

 

My articles have appeared in newspapers including The Boston Globe, The Christian Science Monitor,  The Rutland Herald, and The Hartford Courant. I am a regular contributor to the Outside Story, a nature column syndicated to 10 newspapers in Vermont and New Hampshire. I was a regular contributor to Newsday's weekly science section for five years.

 

I contributed several essays to the book The Outside Story: Local writers explore the nature of New Hampshire and Vermont. I also contributed the essay on native plants to the Encyclopedia of New England.

 

I am a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, the National Association of Science Writers,  and the Society of Environmental Journalists.

I am an environmental writer with extensive experience writing about science, wildlife and conservation. I have been a professional writer for two decades.
