Plymouth Elementary School is very excited to announce an innovative design to deliver differentiated, departmentalized instruction to our community of unique learners. The teachers will use their educational strengths in their teaching areas.
Mrs. Regina Davis is currently completing her Master’s Degree with an endorsement as a Reading Specialist from the College of St. Joseph. Mrs. Davis will be teaching reading and language arts.
Ms. Sara Lesperance piloted our new mathematics program, Everyday Mathematics, last year. She will be teaching math and science. Ms. Sara has just begun her Master’s degree program at The College of St. Joseph.
Mrs. Susan Wendler O’Brien, has completed her first year as half -time principal at Plymouth Elementary. She will be assuming the half -time special educator’s position and will also be teaching writing and social studies.
Mrs. O’Brien has her Master’s in Elementary Education and Special Education from Notre Dame College and has credits after her degree in Educational Leadership from Plymouth State University. She has taken Vermont focused education classes at the College of St. Joseph and at Castleton State.
Plymouth Elementary School is very fortunate to have two paraprofessionals, Mrs. Dale Mary Lynds and Mrs. Cynthia Bostock to help implement this dynamic educational endeavor.
