MERCY SUNDAY, March 30, Our Lady of Ephesus House of Prayer, 35 Fawn Ledge Lane, Jamaica, VT will host a day dedicated to the Feast of Divine Mercy from 1:30 – 5:30 PM. Confession, Rosary, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Pot luck supper following the 4:30 PM Mass. Guest speaker will be Fr. BR. SAM’S SCULPTURE AT THE CHAFFEE

Br. Sam will be showing his sculpture at the Chaffee Art Center, 16 South Main St., Rutland. The opening was on Friday, March 14. The show will continue until Friday, April 4. All are invited! If you were not able to make the opening, the hours of the Chaffee are: Monday thru Saturday, 10-5, Sunday, 12-4, closed on Tuesday. Br. Sam will be showing a dozen works and the exhibit will highlight work by three other artists. So come for an enriching experience and hopefully be inspired! During the duration of the Chaffee show, the Rutland Public Library will also be exhibiting several of Br. Sam’s works.

 

 

DANCE AND SILENT AUCTION will be held on Saturday, April 5 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 21 Merchants Row, Rutland. Music with “On the Rocks” and “Satin and Steel” from 8:00 – 11:30 PM. DECORATING ST. PETER CHURCH

We will be decorating St. Peter Church on Saturday, March 22 for Easter @ 11:00 AM.  We could use your help – the more help, the quicker it will get done. Thank you.

 

 

GOOD FRIDAY is a day of Fast & Abstinence. All those over 14 years old are required to abstain from meat. The Fast is required for all those from 21 – 59 years old. Their two smaller meals should not be larger than their main meal.
