The purpose of this website is to display online the photographer's black and white images of covered bridges.
In doing so, it is hoped that the excellent qualities of modern B&W films will become evident to the viewer.
It is beyond the scope of this effort to provide a detailed history of the covered bridge or analysis of their
design and construction. Trusswork style is described only because this the traditional means used in
classifying these structures. None of the descriptions provided with the photos have been independantly verified
by the photographer, and as such should not be considered source material.
