 The Salem-Shotwell Bridge was a 76' Town lattice type built over Wacoochee Creek in 1900 in Salem. On 5 June 2005, a large tree fell on the bridge in severe weather, and it collapsed into the creek. It was rebuilt some miles away in Opelika Municipal Park and reopened in August, 2007. Kodak TMX 100, 16 September 1995. |
