Demo at Forest
Park
Springfield, Mass- April 20th, 2004
This was the first year
for the Equine Extravaganza at Forest Park.
Each day, a different breed of horse was featured.
The weather couldn't have been better and we drew a great crowd.
The Curlies did 4 demo's
throughout the day- and I brought along plenty of display materials-
including many handspun items from the Curly hair.
The one characteristic that the crowd seemed to focus on was the
"hypoallergenic" quality of the Curly horse.
The horses that
participated are~ Dream Weaver- barn name- "Webby"
from Blue Sky Farm owned by Nancy Vining (breeder) of Monson MA
(out of BG Dream Curl and Mel's
Bathtub Gin)
AND
Ka-Ha-Si ~ owned by Sandy of WestRidge Farm in Hampden MA
(out of Teena's Avis Jane and The
Mighty Quinn)
