Lejonhud Daffodil is being ridden
by a young woman in pony club .
She also is a super cart horse.

She has been shown quite a bit
and always done well.
Comfy gaits, great disposition.

Honeybee Gal has been a broodmare all of her life, but she has managed to foal out some great horses now being ridden and driven. She was born
here at Top O' The Hill Farm.

You can see some of Honeybee's offspring on her page here Of the 10 foals listed, I have news of 9 of them being ridden regularly and some being shown.

Her sire, Mel's Bathtub Gin, was a stallion
at the farm until he was gelded late in life and then ridden on numerous camping trips and pleasure rides. He was a delight to ride. He won a few ribbons at some Judged Pleasure rides. A nice smooth forward mount.

You can see "Tubby's" list of offspring here Of the 16 offspring listed there, I have news of 12 of them being ridden by their new owners.

Col's Pasqualie Kid was a stallion here at the farm until his death. His offspring were all fabulous horses. Every now and again, we rode him- always a gentleman, with a smooth forward trot. We also rode his dam Little Pet although she was mainly a broodmare. She was also a great mount.  His maternal sister is LIlly. Another great maternal sister of his is Memmie-- what a smooth ride !!
Peacock's Banner was a wonderful stud. He only bred a few mares with us before a tragic freak accident caused his death. His offspring are all solid riding horses. Banner was gentle and an easy ride- ridden many times by very young children.

The Mighty Quinn -- another horse about which you can't say too many great things. He has been one of our most favorite to train, lots of fun with a super attitude. Athletic- outstanding potential.
Quinn sired 3 foals - Wassee being one of them,
the other 2 - Ka-Ha-Si (being ridden in MA) and Elektra (still at the farm)

Lilly was born at Top O' The Hill Farm- and has brought us such pleasures in all aspects. She is a superb broodmare and an outstanding performance horse. She's also a treasured therapeutic riding lesson horse. She has won countless ribbons - a real "been there, done that" type of horse. You can read more here
With a family like this-- Wassee is destined to be a WINNER !! Mead's Chocolate Chip came to the farm as a 4 year old. He had already sired 5 nice foals for his former owner (no longer in breeding). Over the years as the main stud here at the farm, he has impressed me with his offspring-- all trainable, athletic, willing with fabulous attitudes. He is saddle trained but we have not had much time for him under saddle.
Sometimes, he is pastured with several other studs.
Chip has sired some winners for sure.
You can check out the list of offspring
here.
At least 10 of the listed offspring are being ridden or driven (the remainders are too young yet, or new owners have not kept in touch.)
