And now a vignette of life, love and modern sex!

Back in Sept. 1993, the dean of women in Antioch College in Ohio felt her "innocent" charges were being taken advantage of by their dates. She instituted a new rule which stated before the young lady had sex with her partner, "...each must get a firm 'yes' for each move toward physical and or sexual contact." My response is shown below.
 

In view of the almost daily reporting of sexual harrassment of women by men in the Army, it seems the men doing it are abysmally stupid in dipping their pen into the company ink-well because it seems to be that there are plenty of younger and more gorgeous ladies just lookin for it and likin' it elsewhere and safer. Perhaps they need some sex contracts to go along with their condoms. Then, perhaps - just perhaps - the alleged victims didn't know when they were well off - or were rejected next time they asked or hinted at correspondence.

Now hear this!

It just ain't love when a man - or woman - uses position, power, threats, intimidation and or money to obtain sex. It's the abuse of power and the degradation of both sex - and true love - the greatest gifts from God after life itself.

Those who abuse their power position to acquire sex have nothing to be proud of and should be prosecuted where force or intimidation has occurred. However - in the military service where men and women are forced to cohabitate closely together it is a forgone conclusion that there will be some cozyness - some hanky-panky going on. It is stupid to expect that the officers and enlisted personnel will not intermingle in true love relationships and also in sexual encounters.

It is more stupid to write - and enforce - laws which deny the nature of mankind and womankind and to assess penalties of prison terms for doing what comes naturally - providing it is consensual - consexual - consentient - oh shucks - just make it consensual.

And it is even more stupid to have women "in the trenches" with the men and not expect relations and relationships to be non existant. Women are what they are and so are men and they cannot be made the same unisex.That great sage - historian - truth teller and and speaker of great wordiness, Newt Gingrich, in speaking of women in the trenches, was quoted as saying: "In the trenches women get infections after 30 days but men are like piglets and they naturally like to shoot giraffes." We were on the spot to record for posterity the scene Newt related.
